Free English lessons for kids — FAQ

Are these English lessons for kids really free?

Yes — every lesson on this page is completely free and fully interactive. There is no sign-up, no download and no paywall: open a lesson and teach it right away.

What ages are the lessons for?

Children aged 7 to 11. The lessons are grouped into four stages — Stage 1 (ages 7–8), Stage 2 (8–9), Stage 3 (9–10) and Stage 4 (10–11). The ranges overlap on purpose: pick the stage that matches what the child can already say, not just their birthday.

What is inside one kids lesson?

A clickable scene with around ten stops: warm-up, new vocabulary, a vocabulary game, speaking practice, a grammar focus with its own game, a movement break, a phonics lab, a topic game and a wrap-up game. Every lesson is built for a 30-minute one-to-one or small-group class.

Can I teach them online over Zoom?

Yes. Each lesson is one full-screen scene designed for screen sharing on Zoom, Google Meet or any video call — you click a stop, the activity opens over the scene, and the child sees exactly what you see.

Do the lessons include phonics?

Every lesson has a dedicated phonics stop with a target sound, plus tricky words in the higher stages. It is a fixed part of the lesson arc, not an optional extra.

Do I need any preparation or printing?

No. All artwork, audio and games are built into the lesson, and a teacher Overview and Parent Summary are one click away in the lesson header — so you can open it cold and still know exactly where it is going.

Want all 280 kids lessons?

70 lessons per stage, four kids learning paths, progress tracking per child — plus the full adult library, auto-graded homework and an AI lesson generator.
