This interactive, confidence-building lesson is designed for young elementary ESL learners (Stage 2, ages 8–9).

The theme Daily Routines expands on Stage 1 by adding opinions and preferences through the grammar pattern “I like to…” / “I don’t like to…”. Students learn to express what they enjoy or dislike doing as part of their daily lives.

The lesson integrates vocabulary review, grammar expansion, phonics (/m/ sound), and multiple interactive speaking and movement games. Learners connect personal experience to target language, promoting both emotional engagement and sentence fluency.

Activities are visual, movement-rich, and student-centered, designed for 1:1 or small-group classes (online or in-person). The sequence provides repeated opportunities for students to listen, speak, act, and respond in meaningful contexts—finishing the lesson with a lively game and confident communication.
