This lively Stage 3 lesson (ages 9-10) strengthens functional speaking with the pattern “I use my … to …” so learners can explain how they use body parts to do actions (e.g., I use my tongue to taste. I use my neck to look around.).
Students expand upper-body and joint vocabulary, practise sentence building and unscrambling, and develop pronunciation with /th/ (voiceless) through tongue twisters and word games. Short, visual tasks move from rapid recall → sentence construction → creative speaking → review, keeping energy high and ensuring repeated full-sentence production.
Target items & model fixes (from prompts):
shoulder, elbow, ankle, wrist, stomach, back, neck, tongue
Unscramble & say the sentences (e.g., This is my shoulder. / I can bend my elbow. / I wear a watch on my wrist.).
